.. Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation pending in Crime No.1 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent to some other agency.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.1 of 2023 pending on the file of the second respondent to some other investigation agency.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the F.I.R was registered under Section 174 of Cr.P.C., in Crime No.1 of 2023 on 03.01.2023 since the husband of the petitioner died under suspicious circumstances. Pursuant to the registration of the F.I.R, the Investigation Officer has examined twenty four private witnesses and four official witnesses and recorded their statements. It was further submitted that the investigation will be completed and a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may be, will be filed shortly by the second respondent.

3. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may be, before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed off with the above directions.
