It has been stated that the detenue, D.Sivagami, who has been doing M.B.A. course, in Arignar Anna College, Pennalur, had left home on 21.1.2016, and that she did not return back. The wife of the petitioner herein/mother of the detenue had given a complaint, on 22.1.2016, to the third respondent and a case in Cr.No.89 of 2016, for woman missing, was registered. Since no further steps have been taken by the third respondent, the petitioner has filed this present petition with the above prayer.

On enquiry the detenue stated that she had married the 4th respondent herein, on 23.1.2016, at Sivan Koil, at Tuticorin, and thereafter, she has been living with him.
