This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.No.4437 of 2023 dated 05.04.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special

Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent. Mr.S.Balaji, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mayiladuthurai Sub Division, Mayiladuthurai District appeared in person before this Court today.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of this Court dated 05.04.2023 has been complied with and charge sheet filed was taken on file in C.C.No.105 of 2025 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tharangampaddy and an affidavit was filed indicating the reasons for the delay.
