Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2024 seeking transfer of patta with respect to his land measuring 1.52 acres in S.No.35/4, Melvanakkambadi Village, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and specified in the sale certificate dated 01.06.2006 issued by the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Chengam, and pass necessary orders as directed by the first respondent in his office proceedings Ref.O.Mu.No.M(4)/2269887/2024 dated 25.07.2024. ORDER
By the consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2024, seeking transfer of patta with respect to his land admeasuring 1.52 acres in S.No.35/4, Melvanakkambadi Village, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

Mr.M.Tamil Thendra Arasu, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the subject property in a Court Auction on 10.10.2005 and the District Munsifcum-Judicial Magistrate Court has also issued the sale certificate on 01.06.2006 in respect of the subject property. It is stated that the petitioner has been in possession of the land since.
4. It is submitted that the petitioner has approached the respondents for transfer of patta in his name in respect of the subject property. Even after several representations from the Page No.2 of 6
petitioner, since no action had been taken to transfer the patta in his name, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
5. At the outset, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's request for transfer of patta on the basis of the sale dated 01.06.2006, issued by the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, would be considered and appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, would be passed after putting the petitioner and/or any other interested parties on notice within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the uploaded copy of the order. The same is accepted to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Recording the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
