No.A1/3331/2020 dated 26.11.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner back into service with all service and monetary benefits arising thereof. 1/6

ORDER

The petitioner is challenging the suspension order dated 26.11.2020 issued to her in this Writ Petition.

2. Till date counter has not been filed by the respondents. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents seeks further time to file a counter. However, learned counsel for the petitioner would now submit that the petitioner will be satisfied if the petitioner's representation which was earlier given to the respondents, seeking for revocation of the impugned suspension order dated 26.11.2020 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. The petitioner's main grievance is that eventhough the suspension order was issued as early as on 26.11.2020, till date the respondents have not reviewed the said suspension order and according to her, it is arbitrary and illegal.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, seeking for revocation of the impugned suspension order dated 26.11.2020 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the prolonged suspension, necessarily the respondents will have to pass final orders within a short time.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2021, seeking for revocation of the impugned suspension order dated 26.11.2020, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the final orders, she is granted liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to her under law.

7. With the aforementioned directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
