ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to hold enquiry under 151 Police Standing Orders against the third and fourth respondents into the torture of the petitioner herein, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2021 on the file of the first respondent herein.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for respondents 1, 2 & 5 submitted that while pending the writ petition, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kottakuppam conducted enquiry as contemplated under Police Standing Order 151 and concluded that the petitioner was arrested in pursuant to the registration of FIR in crime No.35 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 464, 465, 468, 471, 420 of IPC on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chittor Police Station. In fact, after arrest, he was

produced before the IV Additional Judicial Magistrate, Chittor and he was detained in judicial custody at Chittor District Jail. Therefore, the fifth respondent was never assisted while arresting the petitioner. 4.

Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
