Writ petitioner in the main writ petition has taken out the instant 'Writ Miscellaneous Petition' ('WMP' for brevity) with a prayer to implead Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Chennai as the sixth respondent (R-6) in the writ petition. Mr.D.Santhana Gopalan, learned counsel on record, submits that writ petitioner is a Central Assessee, subject matter of writ petition pertains to transfer of input credits qua CENVAT as of 30.6.2019 or in other words TRAN-2.

2. As the writ petitioner is a Central Assessee, the same has necessitated the filing of the instant implead petition is learned counsel's say. Respondents 1 to 5 in instant WMP, who are respondents 1 to 5 in the main writ petition, do not oppose this petition i.e., this WMP. The sixth respondent (R-6) in the instant writ petition who is being sought to be impleaded is represented by Ms.G.Dhana Madhri, learned Government Advocate and the learned counsel submits that there is no objection or opposition to the implead petition being allowed without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the proposed sixth respondent (R-6) in the main writ petition.

3. In the light of narrative thus far and in the light of averments contained in the affidavit filed in support of this instant WMP, instant WMP is ordered as prayed for.
