2. It is found that the sole appellant in both the second appeals and the first respondent in S.A.No.284 of 2001 had died and it is seen that the learned counsel for the appellant had not taken any steps to bring the legal representatives of the deceased appellant on record.

3. In such view of the matter, no purpose would be served by keeping these appeals further pending hence the second appeals are dismissed as abated. No costs.
