This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 8 days in preferring the Criminal Revision against the Judgment dated 31.03.2023 in C.A.No.1 of 2022 pending on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge of Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu.

2. Though notice was served on the respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision, if it is in order, and list the matter for admission.
