O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation under Crime No.568 of 2022 on the file of the respondent-Police and to file a final report within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint as against the accused before the respondent-Police and the same was registered in Crime No.568 of 2022 on 29.12.2022. Though the complaint was given in the year 2022, the respondent Police has not filed final report yet. Hence, the present criminal original petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the

respondent-Police has also admitted that final report has not been filed so far and seeks time to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

5. In view of the above submission, the Respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.568 of 2022 on the file of the respondent-Police and file a charge sheet within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
