ORDER

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as respondents.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has placed before this Court a communication issued by the District Collector, Erode District, dated 08.10.2015, which reads as follows:- "I invite your attention to the reference cited. Thiru G.Saravanan, Deputy Tahsildar (Retd) of Erode District Revenue Unit has filed a Writ Petition bearing No.14282/2012 before the Hon'ble High Court of Madras, Chennai, for the payment of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

retirement benefits.

2. In this connection, I wish to inform you that all the retirement benefits such as Special Provident Fund, 1984, Earned Leave and Earned Leave on Private affairs surrender, Death-cum-retirement gratuity have already been claimed and paid to the individual and the fact also received from the individual in a petition form and I enclose herewith the petition for your ready reference.

3. I request you to inform the latest stage of the case to the Hon'ble High Court of Madras and to take action for the dismiss the case early."

3. It is noted that the petitioner had also confirmed the receipt of his pensionary benefits by his communication, dated 08.10.2015.
