This Petition has been filed to grant extension of time to the petitioners to deposit the remaining sum of Rs.4,08,700/- before the trial Court, as per the order of this Court dated 02.07.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.9497 of 2024 in Crl.R.C.No.1125 of 2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that on 02.07.2024, this Court has suspended the sentence imposed on the petitioners on condition that the petitioners shall deposit 30% of compensation amount within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order to the credit of C.C.No.307 of 2017 on the file of the Fast Track Court, Magistrate Level, Tiruppur. He would further submit that the petitioners were able to arrange only a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-, out of Rs.9,08,700/- which is 30% of the compensation amount and hence, the

present petition has been filed seeking two months time to deposit the remaining amount of Rs.4,08,700/-.

3. Though the petitioners sought two months time for depositing the remaining sum of Rs.4,08,700/-, this Court is not inclined to grant two months time as sought for by the petitioners, however, time is extended for a period of one week from today (i.e.,) 19.07.2024 to deposit the remaining sum of Rs.4,08,700/- by the petitioners before the trial Court.

4. List the matter on 26.07.2024 for reporting compliance. 19.07.2024 ssb Note: Issue order copy on 22.07.2024.
