(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The limited grievance of the petitioner is that though no disciplinary proceedings or other action is pending before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry against him, the respondent has not renewed his Identity Card. Pending writ petition, we had passed an interim order on 07.07.2025, which reads as follows: "We do not find any valid reason for the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to refuse renewal of the Identity Card of the petitioner herein. Admittedly, no complaint or disciplinary action is pending against the petitioner. While that being so, there would be no impediment for the respondent to renew the petitioner's Identity Card.
2.Accordingly, the petitioner is called upon to make an online application to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, who in turn shall renew the petitioner's Identity Card and produce the original before this Court, by the next date of hearing.

3.Post the matter on 14.07.2025."
2.In view of the interim order, learned counsel for the respondent as well as the petitioner submitted that the Identity Card has been renewed by the Bar Council of the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As such, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition.
3.Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
