O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1891/2011 on the file of the respondent police in time bound manner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.189/2011 was registered on 11.09.2011 under Section 379 IPC, against the accused. The case of the petitioner is that when she was travelling in the bus, she lost the chain. Earlier, the petitioner filed Crl.OP.No.31780 of 2014 and this Court passed the following order on 04.12.2014 :

"Having regard to the nature of crime, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation"

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police did not get any clue and the investigation is still pending.

5. In a case of this nature, this Court cannot give a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible With the above direction, this petition is closed.
