ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 408, 420 and 471 of I.P.C. in Cr.No.Not known of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused are employees of Sembakkam Cooperative Housing Society and they are alleged to have mis-appropriated a sum of Rs.1,69,51,000/-. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has not paid the matured fixed deposit amount to the depositors and as such mis-appropriated a sum of Rs.10,50,000/-.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is a member of the society and that already Surcharge proceedings has been initiated against the main accused and properties worth more than Rs.10 Crores have been attached. 4.Heard the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the huge amount involved in the case and the gravity of the offence allegedly committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.This criminal original petition is accordingly dismissed. -sd/- 01/11/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
