Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to initiate an investigation pursuant to the power under Chapter IIIB of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and Chapter V of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987 against the 3rd respondent in as much it concerns the collusion with its customer under default in order to clean up their nonperforming assets by collecting payments and shifting the loan accounts from defaulters to innocent persons so as to conceal the realities in regard to the mounting non-performing assets of the 3rd respondent, from the Regulatory Authorities and consequently cancel the 3rd respondent Certificate of Registration granted by the 1st and 2nd respondents. 2. Even today i.e., on 10.01.2024, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioners. Thus, it is evident that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.19309 of 2020 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
