This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1219 days in filing the written statement by the 5th and 7th defendants. 2.In the affidavit filed seeking to explain the delay, it had been stated by the 7th defendant, that his daughter's wedding took place at Gujarat and thereafter, he was admitted in a hospital at Coimbatore and thereafter, his father died and he had to look after his aged mother. It is sought that the delay in filing the written statement on behalf of the 5th and 7th defendants may be condoned.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the plaintiffs also. 4.In view of the reasons stated, the delay is condoned and this Application is allowed. The Registry to take on record the written statement filed by the 5th and 7th defendants.
