ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.09.2024, for the offence punishable under Section 305, 331 (4) and 62 of BNS, in Cr.No.629 of 2024, pending on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner had entered into the defacto-complainant's

house with an intention to commit theft. Hence the case. 3.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 20.09.2024 and that further custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and on instructions submitted that petitioner is having twenty previous cases pending. He further submitted that charge sheet has been filed in C.C.No.148 of 2025. 5.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the nature of the offence, the petitioner is having twenty previous cases pending and the fact that the trial is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
