ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct a Cultural Program (Adalum Padalum) scheduled to be held on 7.8.2018 at Arulmigu Thambikalai Ayyan Temple, Muthuampalayam, Goundampalayam Post, Veloodu via, Erode, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Goundampalayam Post, Erode District and also claims to be one of the members of the Vizha Commttee. Since the committee has been conducting the cultural programmes as a part of temple festival every year in a peaceful manner without any untoward incident in the past, he has submitted a representation to the respondent on 25.07.2018 seeking permission to conduct the cultural programme on 07.08.2018. As the said representation has not been considered by the respondent so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent objecting to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the cultural programme submitted that there is likelihood of communal clash between two groups. 4.

However, considering the facts and circumstances of the matter, this Court hereby directs the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the cultural programme on 7.8.2018 at Arulmigu Thambikalai Ayyan Temple, Muthuampalayam, Goundampalayam Post, Veloodu via, Erode, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018by by issuing suitable conditions.
