ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents1 and 2 to survey and fix boundary stones to the petitioner's land as per the challan, dated 05.04.2026

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a request to survey and fix the boundary stones of the her land situated in Villupuram district, Vikravandi taluk, Iyankoilpattu village, in Survey No.484/10A to an extent of 2.8600 Ares, as per Challan No.2026/N123/07/000724, dated 05.04.2026 and direct the third respondent to give proper police protection to enable the second respondent to measure the land. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and submitted that the petitioner's request will be considered within a period of eight weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the

petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 and carry out a survey and complete the process within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any. It is open to the respondent to request for police protection before jurisdictional police. If any such request is made, the jurisdictional police is directed to provide an adequate police protection for conducting the survey.

6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondents to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
