The petitioner claims to have purchased lands in Old S.No.197/5 admeasuring to an extent of 0.06 cents (New S. No.211/13), Old S.No. 211/6 admeasuring to an extent of Ac 0.15 (New S. No.196/ 16), Old S.No.358/21 admeasuring to an extent of Ac 0.06 cents (New S.No.171/24), S.No. 360/16 admeasuring to an extent of Ac 0.07 (S.No.170/23, 24, 26, 27), Old S.No.386/1

admeasuring to an extent of Ac 0.44 (New S.No.96/1) and S.No.387/9 & 10 admeasuring to an extent of Ac. 0.63 (New S. No.97/10), situated in Tindivanam Registration District, Vanur Sub-Registration District, Thailvaram Village and to be in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same and submitted a representation dated 24.01.2014 praying for change of patta in his name and the first respondent vide communication dated 03.02.2014 made in Na.Ka.No.A2/1826/2014 has directed the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct enquiry and pass orders and despite that, no orders have been passed and therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is absent. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to take note of the proceedings of the first respondent dated 03.02.2014 made in Na.Ka.No.A2/1826/2014 and pass orders on the petitioner's application/ representation dated 24.01.2014, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
