Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to cancel the patta issued in the name of 28 unknown persons with regard to my land measuring an extent of 0.33 cents in S.No.190/1B2 Annathanapatty Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2020.

ORDER
The petitioner has moved the second respondent with his representation dated 05.10.2020 for cancellation of patta issued to some 28 persons and seeks issuance of fresh patta to him, which has earlier been registered in his name.
2. Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate enters appearance for the respondents and makes a statement that the appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
authority is the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem and the petitioner may have to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem.
3. The petitioner now undertakes to file a fresh representation before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, whereupon on receipt of such representation, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem is required to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities assigned to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem, in connection with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
