Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's appeal made in Appeal No.4856/B1/2020, dated 30.06.2020 against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 03.06.2020 made in letter No.122 of 2020 refusing to register the petitioner's sale deed.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's appeal dated 30.06.2020 filed as against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 03.06.2020 made in letter No.122 of 2020 refusing to register the petitioner's sale deed.

2. The limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition by the petitioner is only to give a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of appeal filed by him on 30.06.2020, within a time frame.

3. Mr. B. Kannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 30.06.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
