ORDER

The Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent in the provisions of Contempt of Court for willful disobedience the order of this Hon'ble Court in Crl.R.C.No.494 of 2021 dated 18.08.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that this Court by an order dated

18.08.2021, while setting aside the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram, in C.M.P.No.1212 of 2021, dated 26.07.2021, had directed the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner and to investigate the matter in accordance with law. He would further submit that however, no time limit has been fixed by this Court, the respondent has also registered the case on 15.12.2021 in Crime No.29 of 2021 and therefore, the respondent has not committed any contempt.

3. Heard the counsel appearing for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

4. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.29 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 324 & 307 IPC on 15.12.2021. The respondent has not disobeyed the order of this Court.
