ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The detenue was produced before this Court. The third respondent and his mother, Jothi also appeared. The detenue was produced by the 2nd respondent. The detenue appeared to be a very bright girl. For all the questions we asked, she answered very correctly. We assess that she is capable of understanding the surroundings and the consequences. She told us that she is willing to be only with her father and she is now in her V standard.

2. Having heard the child so, the learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.R.Sankarasubbu offered to not press this petition. He has made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above, this petition is dismissed as not pressed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy before the competent Civil Court.
