ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/defacto complainant to order for transfer of investigation pertaining to FIR in Crime No.53 of 2024 pending on the file of the 1st respondent, to the 2nd respondent to proceed with the investigation.

2. When the matter came up before this Court on earlier occasion, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that the investigation was already over and the charge sheet has also been filed before the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai through e-filing, whereas, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the learned Magistrate returned the copy application filed by the petitioner stating that no charge sheet had been filed. Therefore, this Court had called for report 2/5

from the Magistrate and the same has been received and placed before this Court today (14.07.2025) in which, it is stated that the charge sheet was filed through e-filing on 16.04.2025 in SR No.14655 of 2025 and the hard copies of this case were received only on 25.06.2025 and now the case has been taken on file in C.C.No.1647 of 2025.

3. In view of the above, there is no need for transfer of investigation.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

5. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law before the trial Court.
