No.IO /CHNB / A /LI /0165/2019 - 20 dated 31/03/2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to honor the claim of Rs.30 55 304/- made by the petitioner in respect of health insurance policy availed by petitioners father in Policy No.70000018310 dated 01/06/2017 without insisting for any further documentations or particulars in accordance with the law.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 30.01.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner died and sought time to bring the legal heirs on record. Therefore, the matter was directed to be posted after two weeks. Thereafter, when the matter was called on 21.02.2024, again, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought for further time to take steps and thus, the matter was adjourned to 06.03.2024.
2. Today when the matter is called, there is no representation on the side of the petitioner and the learned counsel for the petitioner has also not taken any steps to implead the legal heirs of the petitioner. 2/4
3. Considering that learned counsel for the petitioner in not being ready with the matter eventhough this Court granted adjournments on two earlier occasions for taking steps, no steps have been taken so far. Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss this writ petition.
4. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
