This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, Mr.P.Singaravel, SI, ALGSC, Perambalur District is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that on the complaint given by Subramanian, a petition enquiry is pending in SP current paper C.No.321 of 2017.

4.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
