This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.64 of 2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR was registered in the year 2018, no direction can be issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.64 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible and either file a charge sheet or closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
