Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 2nd Respondent in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.86715/W1/E2/2017, dated 31.07.2020 and quash the same and direct the respondents to settle that benefits with held by the respondents due to the order of punishment.

I heard the learned senior counsel Mr.Singaravelan for the Petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader Mr.C.Munusamy for the Respondents.

2. By this writ petition, an order dated 31.07.2020 imposing the punishment of stoppage of increment for two years without cumulative effect on the Petitioner is under challenge.

3. Upon perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, I find that the Petitioner has filed an appeal dated 17.11.2020 which is pending before the first Respondent.

4. In view of the aforesaid, I dispose of the writ petition by directing the first Respondent to consider the appeal filed on 17.11.2020 on merits and in accordance with the applicable law and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
