Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's leave encashment benefit along with Dearness Allowance arrears with due interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the said date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement within the time that to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to disburse the petitioner's leave encashment benefit along with Dearness Allowance arrears with due interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the said date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement.
2. The petitioner had retired from service from the respondent Corporation on 24.06.2021. From the retirement benefits, leave encashment benefits of Rs.30,758/- and the Dearness Allowance arrears of Rs.12,710/- are yet to be paid to the petitioner. The said entitlements were furnished to the petitioner vide letter dated 12.05.2023 in response to the information sought under the Right to Information Act. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 24.05.2023 which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. In view of the admitted fact that the petitioner is eligible for the amount, which has not been paid till date, the petitioner would be entitled for interest on the outstanding amount.
4. In the light of the above observations, the respondents are directed to 2/4
pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.30,758/- towards leave encashment benefits and Rs.12,710/- towards Dearness Allowance arrears together with interest at the rate of 4% from the date on which he would be eligible for such payment, till the date of actual disbursement, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
