ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Sessions Judge, the Special Court for Trail of Cases under SC and ST (PoA) act, Salem, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day her surrender in Crime No.145 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was grazing a cow in the field adjacent to the defacto complainant. When the same was objected by the defacto complainant, there was a wordy quarrel, which lead to altercation between the parties. The defacto complainant's brother who is a dumb sustained injuries in the said incident. Hence the complaint.

4. In view of the above factual position, there shall be a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, the Special Court for Trail of Cases under SC and ST (PoA) act, Salem,, to consider the petitioner's bail application, preferably on the

same day of her surrender, in connection with Crime No.145 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the victims under Section 15-A of the SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989. The petitioner shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned within a period of fifteen days from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.
