When the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on either side. However, there is a communication from the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet that the C.C.No.7979 of 2008 pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai as against which, the Criminal Original Petition has been filed in Crl.O.P.No.27474 of 2008 had already been disposed of on 23.11.2013 in Lokadalath organised by Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai. 2.

By recording the report of the learned XVII Metroplitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, this Criminal Original petition is closed as infructous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
