ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.MALA, J.) Learned counsel for the petitioner is present before this Court and the second respondent had produced the detenu before this Court.

2.It is an admitted fact that the detenu is 21 years old. Even though the petitioner has filed this application stating that the marriage between the detenu and the petitioner was held on 07.07.2016 and the detenu is missing from 08.07.2016, today the detenu who was produced before this Court would submit that the petitioner had abducted and married her and that she had not consented for the marriage. Further she would submit that the marriage was not registered and consumated and hence, she wanted to go along with her father.

3.Recording the statement of the detenu, this petition stands closed and since the detenu is a major, she is at liberty to take a decision on her own.
