ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.BASKARAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the directing the respondent to produce her husband by name V.Srinivasan, aged about 40 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.
2.The petitioner states that her husband V.Srinivasan, went missing from 25.06.2016 and subsequently a complaint was lodged with the respondent police on 30.06.2016. Since no effective steps have been taken to trace the detenu, she has come forward with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

3.When the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor represented that the petitioner herself has given a letter dated 25.10.2016 to the respondent police, not pressing the complaint lodged by her on 30.06.2016. 4.On enquiry, it has been stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the husband of the petitioner went away on his own volition due to some personal difficulties. 5.Since the petitioner herself has not pressed the complaint given by her to trace the detenu, no further orders are necessary to be passed and accordingly the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
