ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to investigate the petitioner's complaint dated 08.09.2015 in FIR No.1423 of 2016 with immediate effect and to submit a final report within a specified time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration that the FIR has been registered only on 05.09.2016, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent-Police is directed to conduct the investigation expeditiously in accordance with law.
