This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 71 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 06.03.2023 in C.C.No.254 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, FTC, Magistrate level, Alandur.

2. Though notice was served on the respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is in order, and list the matter for admission.
