Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.306/2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence in Judgment dated 19.12.2017 in S.C.No.369/2013 on the file of XVIII Addl.Sessions Judge at Chennai and to direct the respondent to release the Petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above main CRL A.306/2018 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.306/2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.DR.G.KRISHNAMURTHY, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. R.SURYA PRAKASH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against A-3 with similar overt act in Crl.M.P.No.16710 of 2017 dated 23.04.2018, suspension of sentence has been ordered.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) stated that after consideration of evidence, this petitioner is convicted.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the only breadwinner of his family and also considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to suspend the sentence imposed by the trial Court. Accordingly, the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the said Court

on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m till the disposal of the appeal.
