2. Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits, this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to process the application, as per seniority.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents would concede the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondents to process the petitioner's application as per rules in force and in accordance with law.
