ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondents 3 to 6 is dispensed with.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2024 and rectify the entries in the revenue records namely Patta Nos.963 and 6081.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the present writ petition is in relation to the properties comprised in Survey Nos.299/3 and 299/6 situated at Chennathur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. according to the petitioner, names of Munisamy Gavudu, Krishnappa and Venkatesappa who may not have any right / title over the properties comprised in Survey Nos.299/3 and 299/6. Thereafter, petitioner submitted a representation on 05.09.2024 to 2/6
rectify the above errors in the revenue records, however the same is stated to be pending. Hence this writ petition.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that they would consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate order on merits after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 3 to 6 and other interested parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the limited relief that is prayed, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with following directions: i) The respondent authority shall consider the representation, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 3 to 6 and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any.
ii) Though facts have been set out in affidavit, in view of the limited relief that is sought to be granted, I do not propose to examine the same, lest it may influence the authority. The authority shall independently consider the facts and law set out in the representation and pass appropriate order in accordance with law including but not limited to the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass 3/6
Book Act and Rules.
iii) The petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2024 shall be disposed of within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy.
iv) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. Rights and contentions of the petitioner and all other interested parties are left open.
6. There shall be no order as to costs.
