Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue the pension and the arrears eligible by the petitioner with interest.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein in this Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue the pension and the arrears eligible to the petitioner with interest.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is a Senior Citizen aged about 68 years. The petitioner submitted that her husband A.K.Chandra Rao, was working as Asst.Store Keeper at State Transport Depot, Pallavan House and after his retirement he was receiving pension amount of Rs.3,197/- (Rupees Three Thousand One Hundred and Ninety Seven Only) (PPQ No.A561443). Further, the case of the petitioner is that that her husband expired on 28.10.2014 and as the petitioner is eligible for the pension as his spouse, the petitioner had applied for pension.

3. It is also the case of the petitioner that all the papers are still pending in the hands of one Madhusha, as per the instructions of the respondent and that the petitioner was made to run from pillar to post and the petitioner handed over all https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the required documents to the said Madhusha, staff of Pallvan House. But till date, the petitioner has not received the pension eligible to her and that her life has become miserable and she has no other source of income. The petitioner has already given a complaint on 23.05.2019, but, till date, no action has been taken.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent conceded to the request made by the petitioner. Since, the representation, dated 20.06.2019, was not considered by the respondent, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that it would be suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.06.2019, within a time frame.

6. Without expressing any opinion on merits, I am inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to dispose of the Writ Petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
