Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she was not given a seat by the 1st respondent, though she has secured adequate mark.
3. Before adverting the claim of the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the 1st respondent institute is an unaided private college and they have autonomy in admitting the students as per the merit. Since the petitioner herein has not secured adequate marks, she was not given a seat.
4. This Court has very limited power of supervisory jurisdiction in the administration of the unaided private institutions. In so far as the admission is concerned, the grievance of the petitioner does not fall within the said limited scope.
5. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar rpl To
