ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.360 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant lodged a complaint on 04.06.2021 that on 27.05.2021 at about 12.00 p.m. the petitioners entered into the house of the defacto complainant, assaulted her and compelled her to marry the first petitioner. When the defacto complainant refused the same, the petitioners abused her in filthy language. Hence the complaint.

4. On perusal of the records it is seen that there are lot of contradictions in mentioning the name of the father or the name of the son and their overtact for the occurrence. Only if a detailed investigation is carried out, the real facts can come to light and the overtact of the respective

accused can also be fixed. Hence the first respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
