O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition filed to direct the respondents to complete the investigation and to file a final report in connection with Crime No.233 of 2021, within a time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner/ defacto complainant had lodged a complaint and a case came to be registered against the accused viz., Abdul Azeez, Ezhumalai and their men in Crime No.233 of 2021, for offence under Sections 294 (b) and 506(i) IPC.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that investigation in this case is completed and the case is closed as "Mistake of Fact" and RCS Notice No.3/2021 dated 10.10.2021, is yet to be served on the petitioner/defacto complainant.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent police to serve the RCS Notice to the petitioner/defacto complainant. Thereafter, the petitioner/defacto complainant would take appropriate action to redress his grievances, if any.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
