This application has been filed praying for direction to permit the Official Trustee to organise charity programmes to commemorate the 181st Birth Anniversary of Rajah Sir Ramasamy Mudaliar, which falls on 13.10.2021 and to utilise a sum of Rs.8,58,807/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Fifty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred and Seven only) from the funds of the Trust Estate and remit the excess balance amount, if any, to the Trust account, after incurring the expenses.

2.It is not in dispute that in all the years, to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the Legendary, a function would be organized and the poor and needy will be provided food, clothing etc. For this year, 18 Institutions have been identified and this Court finds those Institutions to be of good standing and the expenses, which is to be incurred for this year, is less than the expenses which was incurred during the last year.
