O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondent to refer the issue of Land Acquisition of 345 sq.metre of land comprised in Survey No.293/2B of Nedunkundram Village, Chengalpattu Taluk and District to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu to determine the issue of enhancement of the compensation amount of acquired land by considering the petitioners' representation dated 05.06.2023.

2. The grievances of the writ petitioners is that the application submitted by the petitioners on 05.06.2023 has not been considered. It is not in dispute that the land belonged to the petitioners was acquired and the compensation determined was paid to the petitioners, however the petitioner raised an objection and filed an application seeking enhancement of compensation, which is yet to be referred by the competent authorities.

3. In view of the facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to refer the application submitted by the writ petitioners on 05.06.2023 to the competent authorities for the purpose of adjudicating the issue and consider the claim of the writ petitioners for enhancement of compensation in the manner known to law.
