This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer D.V.No.8/2016 on the file of the Judicial MagistrateI, Thirvannamalai to the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee to be tried along with C.C.No.87/2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that the Trial in C.C.No.87 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee began and six witnesses have been examined on behalf of the prosecution and they were also cross examined by the accused.

4. In such view of the matter, it may not be in the interest of justice to transfer the Domestic Violence Act proceedings to the Court of the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
