Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to declare that the B.Sc in Applied Science (Information Technology) of Bharathiyar University as equivalent to B.Sc (Information Technology) and consequently direct the third Respondent to select and appoint the Petitioner to the post of Computer Instructor Grade I under the Notification No.9 of 2019 dated 01.03.2019 from the date when the other candidates were appointed with all monetary and service benefits. This writ petition is disposed at the time of admission considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents.
2. It is noticed that the Petitioner was provisionally selected pursuant to the notification dated 01.03.2019 of the third Respondent. The Petitioner has completed B.Sc Applied Science (Information Technology) and B.Sc in Information Technology. After the Petitioner was selected provisionally on 11.01.2020, in the revised provisional list, the Petitioner name has been mentioned at Sl.No.561. It is stated that the Petitioner's name is being with held up for the present. In these circumstances, the Petitioner has sent several representations dated 04.01.2021, 08.01.2021 and 28.07.2021 to the second Respondent to issue appropriate equivalent certificate in terms of the G.O.Ms.No.93, Higher Education (K2) Department, dated 30.05.2019 to verify whether the qualification obtained by the Petitioner is equivalent to the qualifications prescribed in Notification No.9 / 2019 dated 01.03.2015 issued by the third Respondent Recruitment Board.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner has already provisionally selected but her results has been held in the absence of equivalent certificate from the Equivalent Committee headed by the 2nd Respondent, this writ petition is disposed by directing the second Respondent to pass appropriate orders after duly considering the qualification of the Petitioner in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.93 Higher Education (K2) Department, dated 30.05.2019. The said exercise shall carried out by the second Respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the second Respondent concludes that the Petitioner has requisite qualification, the third Respondent shall include the name of the Petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter.
