..Respondent(s) PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 1.06.2026 seeking registration of the sale deed in pending/ 247/ 2026 on merits and as per law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

Mr.Dominic S.David Government's Counsel For R1 & R2 Order This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 01.06.2026 seeking registration of the sale deed in pending/247/ 2026. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner presented a sale deed dated 21.05.2026 before the Sub-Registrar-I, Tambaram. However, the sale deed has been kept pending on the ground that 3rd respondent has made an objection for registration of the said document. He would further submit that if the respondents Department received any objection for the registration of the certain documents, the respondents has to conduct enquiry in this regard and should pass any order. However, the respondents have kept the document pending for a long time.
The petitioner has also made a representation dated 01.06.2026 before the respondents 1 and 2 requesting to register the sale deed 21.05.2026. However, the said representation was also not considered by the respondents 1 and 2. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Mr.Dominic S.David, learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would fairly submit that final decision will be taken regarding the registration of the sale deed dated 21.05.2026 after issuing notice to the 3rd respondent within a period of four weeks. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2026 and conduct enquiry regarding the registration of the sale deed dated 21.05.2026 after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
