ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks a consideration by the Ministry of Law and Justice of the feasibility of enactment of a new law or to amend the existing law - Indian Registration Act, 1908, to provide for system of Lodging Land Caveats by the Stakeholders with the Registrars of similar pattern as in the Malaysian Land Code to prevent multiple registration of the document relating to the same land.

2. The aforesaid issue may be examined by the first respondent/second respondent and if it is necessary, the matter would be referred to the Law Commission.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
